From the Founder: So, You Were Declined?

Thomas Edison, the great American inventor and businessman once eloquently said, “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.”

Truer words have never been spoken and certainly apply to business.

Many people see declines as a failure, but let me be the first to tell you that a decline is a steppingstone. Your financial position today is because you did not know me four months ago.

You must walk before you can run.

Being a successful company is not just about the physical fruits or your labor, but also about what’s going on in the background that you can’t see.

Contrary to what many think, in business what you don’t know – does hurt you!

There are a variety of reasons why declines happen such as divorce, illness, no credit, bad credit, not enough credit – or the coup de grâce, you let someone borrow your credit.

A decline is based on several factors such as:

  • Credit score
  • Time in business
  • Home ownership
  • Liquid assets, and
  • Equipment being purchased

In this program, we will discuss each factor individually and offer examples and provide guidance which will improve your situation.

You will receive different videos that will help better explain how to improve your situation as quick as possible so, that you can become an approvable company. Bad credit doesn’t happen overnight – neither does good credit – this is a marathon not a sprint, but it can happen faster than you might think.

It’s unfortunate our schooling wasted our time on the square root of a number that nobody has used in their life! And neglected to educate us on balancing a checking account or the importance of having and maintaining a strong credit score. It is because of this that many of us including myself at one point had to learn the hard way and crawl out of what appeared a never-ending hole.

If you take this advice, get disciplined, and keep focused – a decline can be an approval before you know it.
